This is the greatest hardware i've ever been bought
it gives a better much better perfomance compared to upgrade I've ever made on a PC.
i bought noctua sp 121 two years ago because it has 'good words' from many tester in overclocks site in internet. i used it for my old LGA 775 but i know its possibility to be used on AMD system.
When i used LGA 775 with dual core i made an upgrade in memory from 2GB to 4 GB. i used 4 512 mb ddr2 kingston then i changed it to 4 ddr2 corsair xms2 which has 'good word' from a site (i forget what the site is). but what the heck ?? my system only accept 3200 MB in memory from the bios. i used p5ad2-e from ASUS.
I, once more upgraded my graphic card from NVIDIA 6600GT to Radeon 4890. woolllaaaaa....it gave me a lot of 'space' to play more games. the game performance is quite good, but when i used it for playing pcsx2 it suffer from fps. it only get around 30 fps which makes the game is difficult to enjoy. in general the game performance isn't quite impressive. my system still suffer from fps in many big games like GTA 4, Dead rising 2, and also prototype. In dead rising 2, when i face alot of zombie the fps drops so low, scattering and frustating sometimes. I don't know why it happens until i 'found' unused AMD motherboard in my office.one resign employee gives me a chance to switch it with my old LGA legally. i decided to make a switch, take my all upgraded on it. corsair DDR2, ATI 4890, and noctua sp 121 were ready to be put on my AMD system.
after 2 hour makes the switch i turn on the computer. it had an x2 amd CPU which is the same dual core as my old LGA system. its performance better than LGA dual core, i got only 3-5 better fps in pcsx2. and the windows experience index show the processor is 0.2 better than my Old LGA. But again it still suffering from 'big games'. I then decide to buy an x6 pocessor. THIS TINY THING CHANGES EVERYTHING EVERYGAMES EVERYMIND. yes...just changing the processor it gives me an entirely new experience in gaming, officing, drawing autocad.
i got 60 fps in gaming pcsx2. i got smooth game experience in dead rising 2 even though i face a lot of zombies there. i have a dream to use a crossfirex system someday. but after i know the performance on my 'new' AMD system, i decide to postpone it for some unseenable time. i'm very pleased with this 'new' system performance.
the CPU temperature is only 30 max (coretemp.exe) when i set to 'high performance' in power plan option in control panel which mean the speed will always pushed to 2800 Mhz. when i set to 'balanced' it reach only 29.
This is the best upgrade i've ever made. higly recomended for you. 5 star.
The key of all my problem is upgrading the CPU. the more Core you have the more fps you will get. believe me.
